Local students' achievements recognized with Health Professions Scholarships

The recipients of NHH's annual Health Professions Scholarships were announced May 7th. Charlotte Ley, of Cobourg, and Kelsey Elchuk, of Campbellcroft, were both recognized with awards honouring their exceptional academic achievements and community contributions.

NHH's annual ceremony honouring staff and physician achievements in service, education and leadership was held April 30th in the hospital's Education Centre. Eighty individuals were recognized at the event, hosted by President and CEO Linda Davis.

This exciting local project is working with a $3-million research grant from The Change Foundation to improve seniors' experiences as they move in, out of, and across Ontario's health system. Led by NHH, the project involves local seniors, caregivers and close to a dozen health and community agencies. There are many ways to participate and join the PATH conversation!
