Reporting to the Patient Care Manager/ Program Director, the Dialysis Attendant is responsible for supporting the Clinical and Technical Teams by assisting with various tasks required for the smooth operations of the unit and patient care including but not limited to; cleaning of patient environment post dialysis treatment as per unit procedure and according to infection control protocols, including dialysis machines, patient chairs and stretchers, and other equipment used during the dialysis treatment. Also responsible for assisting the clinical team in patient support and supply procurement/material management.

NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY – Recognizing the importance of a well equipped hospital, Northumberland doctors have joined forces once again to offer an exciting raffle package in support of the 11th Annual Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation Gala.

Spearheaded this year by Dr. Mark & Linda Essak, twenty doctors contributed funds to feature a raffle with outstanding prizes. Top prize in the “Doctors Come Together Raffle” raffle is a Cunard dream cruise to England for two aboard the Queen Mary 2 or a $10,000 travel voucher. Additional prizes include a 4-night escape to Las Vegas for two or a $2,000 travel voucher and an iPad2. Only 500 tickets are being made available. The Central East Local Health Integration Network (Central East LHIN) recently approved the establishment of a regional entity responsible for the organization, coordination and governance of specialized geriatric services. This new entity will provide a platform and structure to facilitate clinical and service delivery integration activity intended to contribute to better health outcomes for frail seniors across the Central East LHIN. As such, the new entity, the Central East Regional Specialized Geriatric Service (RSGS), will be established using a shared governance model.
