Reporting to the Program Director, the Clinical Operations Manager is accountable for providing hospital wide leadership, guidance, direction and mentorship ensuring efficient patient flow, utilization of all health human and material resources while ensuring safe patient care and a quality work environment in keeping with Northumberland Hills Hospital’s mission, vision, values and strategic direction.
NHH is currently looking for part-time nurses fo our Inpatient Rehab and our Restorative Care Areas.
The successful candidate will utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive, safe and competent care to Hemodialysis patients, while using a systematic approach to assess and identify the needs of assigned patients. Through the Primary Nursing model develop a plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. The RN will take part in health teaching and promotion, chronic disease prevention and management, and assist patients in achieving their highest level of health.
The Northumberland Hills Hospital along with the Community Mental Health Services is currently recruiting for a Team Leader - RN for their Assertive Community Treatment Team. Reporting to the Director of Mental Health, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the quality of patient care provided and for the effective overall functioning of the program.
Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, the Claims Manager will work collaboratively in the planning, implementation and delivery of the Occupational Health and Safety programs at NHH including healthy hospital programs.

The GEM nurse, in collaboration with the Emergency Department (ED) interprofessional health care team, provides advanced gerontological expertise in the care of the frail elderly seen in the ED who are at risk of suffering adverse events, loss of independence and admission to hospital or long-term care. The GEM nurse provides gerontological expertise and targeted assessment and treatment services; enhances linkages with hospital and community services and acts as an advocate for the frail seniors they serve and where appropriate, in partnership with community resources, diverts an unnecessary in-patient admission. In his/her role as a geriatric educator and capacity builder within the ED, the hospital and the community, the GEM nurse builds system capacity to ensure that frail seniors at risk receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
Reporting to the Director, Interprofessional and Ethical Practice and in consultation/collaboration with the Program Director and Patient Care Manager, the Practice Leader is responsible for the overall practice environment of the patient care units in keeping with Northumberland Hills Hospital’s mission, vision, values and strategic direction.
Reporting to the Program Director, the Patient Care Manager is responsible for the overall day to day management of the Medical/Surgical Unit in keeping with Northumberland Hills Hospital’s mission, vision, values and strategic direction.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be a registered nurse who holds a master’s or doctoral degree in nursing with expertise in a clinical nursing specialty. You credentials will be enhanced with you in-depth knowledge and skills, advanced judgment and clinical experience in providing care and solutions for complex health-care issues for a specified patient population. You will play a leading role in the development of clinical guidelines and protocols, promoting the use of research and evidence based practice; providing expert support and consultation, and facilitating system change. As the Nurse Practitioner, you will be committed to lifelong learning and will be committed to promoting, leading and contributing to the lifelong learning of others.
Reporting to the Coordinator of the Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT), the RN provides psychiatric nursing care, psychosocial rehabilitation and support to individuals with a serious and persistent mental illness in a community setting.

The Nurse Practitioner plays a leading role in the development of clinical guidelines and protocols, promotes the use of research and evidence based practice; provides expert support and consultation, and facilitates system change. The Nurse Practitioner is committed to lifelong learning and is committed to promoting, leading and contributing to the lifelong learning of others.
