On Saturday, May 11th, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Northumberland Hills Hospital Auxiliary will hold it second annual signature event. Spring Fever is held on the day before Mother's Day and a couple of weeks before the May 24th planting weekend. It's all about gardens and gardening!

The NHH Auxiliary is holding a recruiting drive on Tuesday, March 19th and Wednesday, March 20th, 2013. Opportunities are available for anyone interested in giving a few hours a month to their community hospital, and there are enough different opportunities that all interests can be accommodated! The Auxiliary assists NHH in patient and non-patient areas, does fundraising and, of course, requires people to help manage all of this!

Stop by the hospital on the 19th or 20th between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM to learn more. Auxiliary representatives will be at the Kiosk on the main floor, and they're looking forward to seeing you and answering all your questions. Parking passes will be provided.

NHH's Auxiliary volunteers have teamed up with Furby House Books and Cameco Corporation of Port Hope to bring three Random House authors to our community: Linden MacIntyre (Why Men Lie), Emily Schultz (The Blondes) and Shauna Singh Baldwin (The Selector of Souls).

Tickets are $60 ($30 of which come back to you in the form of a tax receipt) and include a light meal, a glass of wine and a signed copy of the book of your choice!
